We define a Junior Developer as someone who has beginner development skills, and is new (or brand-new) to actually working as a professional developer. Since the spectrum is pretty large, we encourage employers to be specific about their requirements and expectations of potential hires.

Founded by Mac Eisenberg and Hunter Meyer. Mac is an instructor at a coding bootcamp in Portland, OR and Hunter is a software engineer in Atlanta, GA. After networking with other junior developers they discovered the job search for entry-level programming jobs was far too time-consuming and full of crappy results... so the two came together to build Jr.DevJobs in hopes of fixing the problems with traditional job boards.

Employers or recruiters that have open positions for Junior Front-end Developers, Junior Back-end Developers or Junior (Technical) Project Managers. We also welcome Paid Internships for any of these positions. Unpaid Internships of one month or less may also be posted.
